When I’m not wearing dresses/skirts and looking fancy. I tend to wear very basic/plan things every day. Mostly black.. (I’m trying really hard to bring colorful things into my life.. I’ll leave it to the dresses).
This is the story of my wardrobe

I love this look, and I am reminded that I need to replace the black suit that no longer fits me.

A few things, all of them related to tomboyishness or fatness, so I figure I’d post them here:
1) I got my hairs cut. From about mid-back to pretty darn short. I like it, and want to go even shorter. I like that it does this ridiculous little Aeon Flux thing no matter what (although it was looking a little more Dr. Girlfriend yesterday for some reason.)
2) I had a bit of a medical emergency Tuesday and had to hustle to the Doctor. While there I had the joy and glory of stepping on to a scale for the first time in at least a year (probably since my last Dr’s appointment. I don’t remember what I was the last time I was there, but now I am definitely 253. I wish I were further along in my personal Fat Acceptance for it to not bother me, but it does. I always considered 250 to be some sort of benchmark of terror for me. So the past few days have been a bit of a challenge.
3) And of course there’s nothing like a good heatwave to make you realize you have no clothes that fit that aren’t for, y’know, WINTER (where did you go?) And there’s nothing like shopping to make me feel like a total freak. I cannot find, ANYWHERE, a plain cotton short-sleeved button up in any color I like. Yes, some of us WANT to wear burgundy and dark green in the summer. Even black! I’m almost at the point of ordering some long-sleeved shirts and altering them. Beware. But if anyone has a source for feminine-fit button-up shirts they really like, please share them.
ETA: atoraya suggested this one, and yeah, it’s super nice! Ideally I want one I can button all the way up and wear with a tie if I’m so inclined. But this will certainly do: http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/daryl-top-burgundy.html

Augh, day 23 completely slipped my mind yesterday! I’m one day down on Fatfab. I might post 2 outfits over the weekend to make up for it.
To make up for it, have a Friday outfit. This top is my absolute favorite thing I’ve gotten from Domino Dollhouse.
Love this!
